Zion is a Dutch product from the famous Trichta-line (NL-029). This makes Zion closely related to the Grand Prix horses De Niro (by Calvados) with Peter Wylde, Vent du Nord (by Canadian River) with Kate Levy and Portofino (by Habsburg) with Michael Whitaker. On his mother’s side Sir Oldenburg performs the first-class genes of the Holsteiner stallion Contender (by Calypso II).
